New Features of Version 25.2
SEMA CAD
- For single bar export (BTL(x)/ BVX) of coverings, it
has been ensured that components that are shorter than
the defined fastening distance are fastened at least
twice. This means, for example, that a short square
timber is fixed to the underlying wooden stand with at
least two nails, staples or screws.
- A new update of the master data folder "Hilti 3-01"
has been made available in the SEMA data store under the
"Connectors" tab. This folder contains the new HTC-P2P
90mm M12 wood connector. The HTC-P2P 90 connector is
used in solid wood construction for the installation of
solid wood ceilings.
- In stair construction, it is now possible to display
fasteners and pins directly in the top view. This
display is available for a wide range of stair
components, including stringers, rails, belts, fillings,
curved sections, spirals, caps, S-fittings and at the
end connections of posts and balusters. The
corresponding setting can be found in the F7 settings
for the respective components. The new item "Connections"
has been added under the "Display" tab. If this is
activated, connecting elements and pins are
automatically displayed in the top view.
- In the offset display of walls, roof and ceiling
elements, the designation of the individual layers has
been optimised. From now on, the designation will always
be positioned correctly above the respective layer. In
addition, the colour of the designation is now
automatically taken from the corresponding layer.
- For single-member export (BVX) to the Hundegger
Wallmaster CF, drill holes and contours are now exported
layer-related. This allows, for example, the machining
depth to be defined via the MCAD parameter (P11) with
reference to the layer thickness. In addition, when
exporting wall layers, the designations in the master
data are also exported to facilitate assignment.
- An offset dimension can now be entered for the
element cut/reference. To do this, simply select the
"Element cut/reference" mode in the input reference of a
profile. The existing settings in the front area remain
unchanged - a new area for the offset has been added at
the end of the dialogue. Here, you can choose between
"Relative" and "Absolute" in the drop-down menu.
Relative means that the reference shifts depending on
the selected baseline - especially if the angle of the
profile changes. Absolute fixes the position of the
reference regardless of changes, e.g. to the angle.
- For roof and ceiling elements as well as ceilings
and walls, the default layer coverage is now suggested.
This ensures that no incorrect master data is used when
applying the coverage manually.
- The viewing direction for horizontal and vertical
sections can now be defined individually for walls, roof
and ceiling elements. In the display settings (F7) under
the respective component in the "View" tab, you can
define the viewing direction for the horizontal section
from above or below and for the vertical section from
the right or left ( ). The sections are then
automatically adjusted in the element views accordingly.
- When creating walls, a fixed wall length (Alt+1) can
now be defined. After placing a wall, it is
automatically adjusted to the predefined length. This
function can also be activated when creating a wall
rectangle or using the "Wall from object" command. In
the default settings (Alt+F7) under Walls / Outline, you
can also specify the minimum wall length for automatic
division. This value determines the minimum length of
the last wall in the division.
- MCAD text edits can now also be created for
component side 1. A text that has been created in view
side 3 is automatically "mirrored" vertically if it is
to create a text edit on component side 1. This means
that the text is readable "from below" for horizontal
solid wood components, for example.
- In the Control Centre, it is now possible to
graphically edit user views of issues that are
synchronised via Bimcollab, for example. This allows
details describing the issue to be highlighted for the
editors. To open the graphics program set as the Windows
default for PNG files, simply right-click on the 3D
representation in the user view in the comment area.
