New Features of Version 26.1
SEMA CAD
- For BVX export to Cambium, the control of the
fastening units has been expanded. In addition to the
existing units for nailing and stapling, the pressure
unit (P04 = 18) and the centre punch unit (P04 = 19) can
now also be controlled via MCAD parameters. In addition,
the execution type for contours can be predefined when
exporting to Wallmaster CF. The options sawing (P04 = 1)
and milling (P04 = 2) are available. If, for example,
"sawing" is set, all available saws are checked and the
first suitable saw for contour machining is
automatically used. In the export settings for
Wallmaster CF, the new options "Automatic production"
and "Produce contour as outer outline" must be activated
under "Contour". In addition, the MCAD parameter (P17)
can be used to specify whether contours are to be
produced with or without overlap.
- P17 = 0$B1→ Automatic machine
- P17 = 1$B1→ No intersection
- P17 = 2$B1→ Only at the beginning
- P17 = 3$B1→ Only at the end
- P17 = 4$B1→ Start and end
- The execution type and the setting for overlap can
be controlled in Cambium in the metadata (from Cambium
version 2026.01.12 or higher).
- The BVX machine export to Cambium of machining
operations with shear angles has been revised.
- Python scripts can now be used for IFC export. The
freely programmable scripts are taken into account when
exporting an IFC file and enable, for example,
specifically defined components to be filtered out. The
predefined scripts can be stored in the IFC export
dialogue under "Settings". The new "Selection with
script" function can then be selected in the export
dialogue.
- For trusses and K-levels, there is now an option to
output the 3D geometry. This allows you to control
whether the components are taken into account as
complete bodies during export. This creates more
flexibility and consistency when working with 3D data.
- Purlins and rafters can now be mirrored from one
side of the roof to the other via the ridge in both 2D
and 3D views. The copy function for timber can now be
executed several times in succession.
- The overview detail in the layout view now saves the
F7 settings.
In the display settings (F7) under Images + 3D, the
ambient backlighting can now be adjusted in the
visualisation. This makes it possible to specifically
influence the lighting of the OpenGL display. The
options Standard, Increased and Intensive are available.
